Building Homes for Heroes named beneficiary of season-long initiative
FHN Football is proud to announce a season-long initiative to benefit Building Homes for Heroes. The goal is to raise $30,000 for the severely wounded men and women of the military.
The endeavor will kickoff on Thursday, August 30th at 7:00pm at Forest Hills Northern HS as the Huskies welcome in Byron Center HS. Donations will be accepted all season long right up until the October 19th benefit game pitting the Huskies against the visiting Cedar Springs Red Hawks.
On October 19th, a representative of Building Homes for Heroes, along with one of the wounded veterans, will address the student body at the pep rally prior to the game, and will be on hand to accept a check to benefit the organization. Funds will be raised for Building Homes for Heroes through the sale of t-shirts leading up to the game. The T-shirt will serve as a game ticket and donation to Building Homes for Heroes.
